So here I am again. At the start of a new year, committing myself to this Blog thing. Prayerfully, (no really, I mean it this time) I will update this blog at least once, every two weeks. That's my plan and I'm sticking to it! Women of EFBC I need your help. Each time you respond to my post, you encourage me to keep typing. Please let me know you are checking it out!

Let the blog be a place where we expand on ideas from our Bible Study, share thoughts, and even testify to how God is revealing His power in our lives. The goal is for us to stay connected, to do life together. I absolutely believe that our experience at EFBC will be enhanced exponentially by our willingness to build relationships. You should look no further than the women of our church to find the loving, nurturing, challenging support system you need to grow into all that God has created you to be. But if we don't take the time to intentionally get to know each other, Emmanuel Fellowship will only be where we show up for church on Sunday morning and not what it should be- a community of believers that we have partnered with to grow the Kingdom of God.

It is my prayer that you get all the Lord has for you at EFBC. I'm excited about what God has called me to share with you and I absolutely don't want you to miss a single moment. Please be faithful to the 4 Commitments I outlined: attending Ladies Night Events, participating in at least one women's bible study, checking the website and blog once every two weeks, and communicating with your cell group once a week. We are going to be so impressed with how God builds relationships through these four simple commitments.

We are going to spend the year learning how to LIVE WELL. I believe that too many of us have been surviving well and have given up on Living Well. Let me be the first to tell you, THAT IS NOT WHAT GOD WANTS FOR YOU! Rising above the crisis, not living in chaos, moving beyond your circumstance has everything to do with whether or not you believe that God wants you to LIVE WELL.

Don't worry, at our first Ladies Night we are going to dissect this idea completely. I can't wait to see you there. I'll post the finalized date here and on the church website by Monday morning.
